Weekend Warrior

Time to get outside: outside of your house, outside of your comfort zone and outside of of your current notions about what you can do and be.

The challenge for this "weekend warrior" experiment is to try a whole new form of activity - something "outside the box" to really shake up where you are and what you do with your fitness. Here are some options for your weekend warrior challenge:

Hiking

Cycling

Cycling will give you more zip, both on and off the bike and a chance to get out and just go – long hikes & bike rides can be meditative in and of
themselves.

Word to the Wise
We know that spandex can be unflattering, but it makes a huge difference when cycling. Cycle shorts provide padding and wick away moisture, preventing your rear end, legs, and crotch from getting chafed.

Take a dance lesson

Body Benefits
Feel the rhythm with salsa, swing, or even ballroom. You'll enjoy learning a new skill while breaking a sweat on the dance floor. Take your newly acquired moves to the nearest club afterward if you're up for it.

Rock Out

Take a wall-climbing class together. Spend an hour learning this fun activity while toning your arms and legs.
